Nicki Minaj’s album rollout still doesn’t seem quite complete. Before the release of her highly anticipated album, the “Chun-Li” rapper hinted she would be releasing a documentary to accompany the journey it took to create her fourth studio album. Minaj, 35, shared a preview to the revealing documentary Tuesday afternoon to her Instagram.

Within the emotional clip, she detailed her upbringing with an abusive father and also alluded to her own experience of an abusive relationship. She declared,

I vowed from at that age, no man would ever abuse me, call me out my name, treat me like that. Then all of a sudden, that was my life.

Crying out,

Who was I going to inspire?! When I had nothing in me to give. I let one human being make me so low that I didn’t remember who I was. I was scared to get in the studio. I didn’t believe in myself.

Shortly after Nicki shared the clips, she garnered affection and sympathy from fans, but her ex-boyfriend and rapper Meek Mill shared a post which caught the Barbz attention in a negative way. The “Dreams & Nightmares” rapper posted an image to his Instagram, outlining narcissistic behavior, and fans began questioning if he was speaking in reference to his ex-girlfriend.

The post reads,

When cornered, they’ll lash out by claiming that they are the real victim. Their story will detail your drinking problem, depression, jealousy, low self-esteem, financial woes, etc., thereby, gaining the sympathy of their fan club. Meanwhile, you will be isolated and confused while this aggressive campaign transpires. And when you emerge, the trap will have been set.

The Philadelphia native attached a caption of

Lol.

Nicki previously mentioned when she was dating Meek, they were forced to end it due to it being a “toxic something.” Nicki and Meek were allegedly dating between 2014 and 2015, but officially split at the top of 2017.

The “Queen Documentary” does not have a release date yet.
