Loni Love Talks Tamar Braxton Being Fired From ‘The Real’, Says She Threatened Legal Action Against Vincent Herbert For Trashing Co-Hosts

Loni Love is coming clean about how she found about her ex-co-host, Tamar Braxton being fired from ‘the Real’. Love and Braxton were co-hosts together – along with Tamera Mowry-Housley, Jeannie Mai, and Adrienne Houghton – on the Daytime Emmy award winning show “The Real” up until 2016. The removal of one of the show’s liveliest hosts came as a shock to viewers and the other co-hosts, as they claim they knew nothing about the firing.

During the hosts interview on The Breakfast Club, the comedienne gave details about what really went down. She explains,

When the incident happened when she got fired, I didn’t know about it because I went on the Wendy Williams Show. Why would I go on the Wendy Williams Show if I knew one my cast mates was going to get fired that next Monday? I got a call on Saturday, they said Tamar was being let go. I asked a question, we all got on a text, and we were like, ‘What’s going on?!’

Adrienne chimes in,

We were all calling her! Calling Vince.

Loni continues,

We call her, she’s not picking up the phone. Nothing. Then, when all that happens, I get on the plane to go to Atlanta – this how God works – who’s in front of me, first class? Her sister Towanda [Braxton]. Her sister Towanda said, ‘Loni I am so sorry this happening to you. We know you didn’t have anything to do with it. But I’m going to tell you something. They just did an emergency filming of The Braxton Family Values, and you need to see the episode.’ I said, ‘What are you talking about?!’ She said, ‘You just need to see the episode!’ And I was like, ‘What!?’

Adding,

I had a person that worked at WE Tv, when you’re a good person, people will look out for you; [they] contacted me and said, ‘Look, we saw the rough cut of the Braxton Family Values. You are being named, the girls are being named, and Vince is doing the naming.’ So, I called my attorney – I didn’t tell these girls this, this is the first time they’re hearing this. I said, ‘You gotta call We TV and let them know, if they’re naming us, we are going to have to have legal action.’ We had nothing to do with it – it’s defamation of character. They turned around and did an extra cut, but if you Google, you can see there was a blogger that saw the rough cut. Saying Vince named us, saying we’re jealous, and he named me specifically.

Loni explained that Tamar had wanted to get rid of Vincent as her manager and she (Loni) had referred her to Rushion, who was Steve Harvey’s ex manager. See the clip below.
