Former Atlanta Falcons Player Arrested for Child Molestation
Former temporary Atlanta Falcons running back – Columbus, Georgia native Justin Crawford – has been arrested for an alleged molestation that took place in his home. Justin, 23, is shockingly being charged with four felonies, which include aggravated child molestation, sodomy, incest, and enticing a child for indecent purposes.
As told at his recent probably cause hearing, Detective Mark Scruggs testified that Justin Crawford’s wife told him that at the time of the incident, she got out of bed at around 4AM and discovered Justin standing over the child exposed. The child reportedly immediately told her mother that Justin forced her to perform oral sex on him and have intercourse with him. However, in a later interview with the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer, she disputed what she told Scruggs. She said:
“I did not see anyone having sex, or I would have called police right away.”
Justin admitted to engaging in the acts with the child, but insisted that it was her idea. It was then decided that enough evidence had been found for him to be arrested.
Just two weeks ago, Justin posted a cryptic message on Instagram that may hint at his recent legal trouble. The message read:
“Two things define you. Your patience when you have nothing, and your attitude when you have everything.”
His caption reads:
“@datcrawfordboii God has a plan for everyone, better believe it”
Justin Crawford first earned media attention as a record-breaking running back at Hardaway High School. He was signed as a temporary free agent to the Atlanta Falcons team in May of this year, and cut earlier this fall. He is being held without bond at the Muscogee County Jail.
