Tekashi 69 Sentenced To 4 Years Probation For Child Sex Charges
Tekashi 6ix9ine’s punishment for using a minor in a sexual performance has been handed down. Prosecutors were pushing for the rapper to spend one to three years in state prison and register as a sex offender. However, it has been reported that 6ix9ine will be avoiding jail time and instead, has been sentenced to four years of probation. He has also been ordered to complete 1,000 hours of community service.
Tekashi must avoid all gang activity and any additional arrests if he wants to remain a free man. This may find itself being difficult considering the string of trouble he’s faced in the last year. Tekashi’s lawyer, Stephen Murphy, says that the rapper’s quick rise to fame played a part in some of the trouble he’s gotten into.
Tekashi celebrated his court win quoting a scripture.
