Steve Harvey Lands In The Top 5 Highest Paid TV Hosts, Earning $44 Million Last Year

Forbes has released their list for top paid TV hosts and Steve Harvey has rounded out the top 5.

Just last year, Steve Harvey brought in $44 million. The ‘Steve Harvey’ show ran for five seasons from September 4, 2012, to July 13, 2017. After the cancellation of the show, Harvey launched a lighter version of the daytime show, ‘Steve’,  which aired its first episode on September 5, 2017.  Despite rumors of a cancellation, ratings for ‘Steve’ have continued to thrive and the show has been renewed for a second season.

Harvey has also been hosting Family Feud since August 2010, which remains popular and continues to bring in top ratings. He also hosted FOX’s New Year’s Eve special from Times Square last year.

Beating out Harvey for highest paid hosts are Ryan Seacrest ($74M), Dr. Phil ($77.5M), Ellen DeGeneres ($87.5M) and Judge Judy blows out the competition with $147 million made last year.
