Nick Cannon Defends Kevin Hart By Exposing White Comedians’ Homophobic Tweets
In the midst of Kevin Hart‘s Oscar controversy, in which he lost his Oscar hosting opportunity for refusing to apologize for homophobic tweets he wrote in 2009, Nick Cannon is calling out society’s double standards. Nick Cannon took to Twitter, in the same fashion Twitter users did with Kevin Hart, and pulled old homophobic tweets from white comedians that had not been publicly addressed.
In an effort to defend his longtime collaborator and good friend, Nick Cannon found a tweet from Chelsea Handler, dating back to June 2010, in which she said, “This is what a f*g bird likes like when he flexes.” Cannon retweeted Handler’s old tweet with the comment:
Interesting. I wonder if there was any backlash here…
Cannon followed up with additional tweets by Sarah Silverman and Amy Schumer.

One fan suggested that Nick Cannon should stop worrying about other people’s tweets and make sure his are in order. To which he replied,
Nope!! You know I’ve been saying fucked up shit since twitter started! I don’t play that politically correct bullshit! Fuck politics!! Only Truth!

What do you think about Nick Cannon digging up old tweets?
