Nick Cannon’s Baby Mama Addresses Wendy Williams Calling Child ‘Oops Baby’
Nick Cannon’s baby mama, Brittany Bell, seems to be responding to Wendy Williams. Over the weekend, she posted a maternity photo. In the image, she showed off her growing belly, posing with Nick Cannon. She captioned the post,
The honor of bringing life on earth is definitely not an oops

The ‘oops’ reference, seems to be in response to Wendy’s comments earlier this month on her talk show. As previously reported, during Nick’s appearance on the show, he and Wendy had an awkward exchange about his third child with former girlfriend – 2010 Miss Universe Guam, Brittany. The conversation went as followed:
“Wendy Williams: Now, you’re spending your holidays sleigh-riding from one house to the next?
Nick Cannon: I’m all over! I’m St. Nick, for real! Obviously I have an extended family, and I’ll be visiting many houses over the holidays…
Wendy: …and then to the ‘oops baby?'”
For some, Wendy calling his third child “an oops baby,” insinuates his conception was an accident, or unintentional. At the time, Nick was visibly taken aback, but scrambled to take the edge off the conversation.
“Nick: The disrepute! The ‘oops baby?’…I love you!
Wendy: No- well, we’ve talked about this before. And you were only with the girl- then she was pregnant, and it just happened…”
Wendy is referring to Nick and Brittany’s seemingly random pregnancy that occurred after they broke up. They welcomed a baby boy named Golden Cannon on February 21, 2017.
Nick later took to social media, posing with Golden and acknowledging that his son wasn’t an accident.
Prior to Brittany, Nick Cannon was married to music icon Mariah Carey from 2008 to 2016. They share seven-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe Cannon.
