T.I.’s Sister Precious Harris Laid To Rest [VIDEO]

T.I.’s oldest sister was laid to rest on Sunday, March 3rd. Precious Harris (real name Antoinette Chapman), suffered an asthma attack while driving before hitting a telephone pole in southwest Atlanta on Feburay 15th. According to reports, Chapman was driving in an 2013 Dodge Avenger with her grand daugher, Kair, in the passenger seat. Harris was unconscious but breathing as she arrived at an Atlanta hospital. A week after her accident, Chapman’s daughter, Kamaya shared that she had passed.

In the post, Kamaya mourned her mother and best friend, writing:

“From my bestfriend on earth to My beautiful angel in heaven ?????mama girl you know ima miss you?…. I love you so much. I’m so heartbroken but the way you looked so @ peace this past week has confirmed that you are resting… no more asthma attacks… damn but baby I am going to miss you ?”

A few days after his sister’s death, T.I. made a post to Instagram that said,

We ALL Love You, Miss you, & Appreciate you for your love,service,& lifetime dedication to US!!! And while We’re ALL Happy to see you get your well deserved wings of eternal peace… free from pain, worries, & anguish… But Still WE ALL REALLY HATE TO SEE YOU GO!!! Don’t even trip about US tho sis… you spent your entire life making sure WE was straight… Now we owe you to NOT be selfishly consumed by our pain,but to be HAPPY for you claim your peaceful place in paradise. You earned it sis. We’ll be miserable for a while for missing your physical presence, but your lessons of love,words of wisdom & historical memories WILL NEVER DIE!!! Tell Pops me and Bryce said Whattup. Y’all save us a spot… until then… farewell Big Sis

Wife of rapper, T.I., Tiny Harris, shares a video tribute to her late sister-in-law on Friday writing:

“It’s going to be two hard days for the family but I hear you look amazingly beautiful! We are all missing the joy u bring us but we will remember & cherish the helluva life you lived & all the best moments with our Precious”

 

On Saturday, the Harris family and friends said their final goodbyes in a celebratory fashion to the 66-year-old. The funeral for Chapman was held at Salem Bible Church in Atlanta. Rapper T.I. and his son, King Harris both gave live performances during their family’s celebration service at the Lincoln Cemetery. Other notables in attendance included: Toya Wright, Shekinah Jo, Xscape, Keke Wyatt, and Mayor of Atlanta, Keisha Bottoms.
