The Voice Contestant Janice Freeman Passes At 33 [Condolences]
Very sad news. The Voice contestant Janice Freeman has passed. Her family shared the news on social media, stating that she passed on March 2nd, after having an extreme case of pnemonia and a blood clot that traveled to her heart. Janice had other health issues that she successfully battled including surviving cervical cancer.

Janice had a close friendship with Miley Cyrus, whom she met while on The Voice. See Janice’s performance on the The Voice.
Last year, Miley financially helped Janice and her family by helping the singer get on her feet. Today, Miley responded to the news of Janice’s passing.
