Matt Barnes’ Girlfriend Anansa Sims Throws Him A Surprise Birthday Party

A few days ago, retired former NBA player Matt Barnes celebrated his 39^th birthday—and his girlfriend and the new mother of his child, Anansa Sims, helped commemorate the occasion by throwing him a surprise birthday bash.

After penning a heartfelt Instagram message about boyfriend Matt Barnes’ birthday, Anansa Sims took things one step further and threw the father of her baby boy a surprise birthday party. In the footage, posted to her Instagram stories, Sims leads Barnes into the home they share, where dozens of family and friends await to yell out a collective “Surprise!” for the birthday boy.

Not only was Barnes surrounded by his loved ones, his two sons he shares with ex-wife Gloria Govan were also in attendance and were the first to hug their Dad and wish him a happy birthday.

The party was a laid-back casual celebration where everyone was in comfy clothes and simply enjoying the festivities. Sims’ mother, legendary supermodel Beverly Johnson, was also at the birthday party.
