Kanye West Bringing His Sunday Church Service to Coachella on Easter Sunday
Kanye West is taking Coachella to church this year. He announced on a flight Sunday that his Sunday church service performance will be at the annual music festival.
“Attention 737 passengers. We’re about to make an announcement that we just booked another show. We will be doing Sunday Service, sunrise at Coachella.”
Coachella also confirmed the news on Twitter.

West and Coachella have certainly had their differences in the past. Just earlier this year he backed out of the event, claiming the organizers didn’t give him the stage he requested. All performers are required to perform on a flat 60×40 stage, but West didn’t want to comply at the time. It’s not clear if he’ll be on stage or on the ground like his previous Sunday service performances.
West has been doing his Sunday service since January. He’s made a stop to the Adidas headquarters in Portland, and in another service performed Jesus Walks to celebrate the 15th anniversary of his College Dropout album in February.

Rapper DMX even mad a cameo recently.
And we can’t forget about the time his daughter North West stole the show.
