Roseanne Barr Says She’s Queer As Two Motherf**kers, Wants People To Stop Using F-Word: Especially When It’s 1 Gay Calling Another Gay That!
Roseanne Barr has announced that she is queer. Over the weekend, the 66-year-old comedian posted several YouTube videos, which have since been deleted, discussing her sexuality. She explained,
“Let me just be real. I put the Q in LGBTQ. Because I am queer as two motherf–kers. I’m queer, I’m alien, I don’t belong here with all these people. They make no sense. They are very queer and that makes me a queer I guess. I did put the Q in it. Bye.”
“Man the word f-g is a really hateful word isn’t it? Especially when it’s like one gay calling another gay guy that. Whooo! Have you ever been in the middle of one of them hate marriages? Woof! It’s like, ‘Wait a minute, we’re not supposed to say that word. How come you’re saying that word?’ What?”
At one point, she became visabably upset about the use of the word, stating,
“I just can’t say the word. Well, I can when I’m in the house but I can’t say it outside of the house,” she went on. “Okay I get your rules but it is a hateful word, you should get rid of it. Get rid of it being spoken.”
On another video, she stated,
I want to talk about that word that shames gay kids. I really want to turn that word around,” she asserted. “Who’s using it and why?”
All of the videos have since been removed. Roseanne’s hit show ‘Roseanne’ was revived in 2018 on ABC. A ratings success, it was renewed for an additional season, but was canceled after Barr made a controversial tweet condemned as racist by many commentators. Barr referred to the tweet as a “bad joke”.
