NFL’s Robert Griffin III & Wife Expecting Their 2nd Child Together

NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III took to Instagram to announce he and his wife, Grete Griffin will be expecting baby number 2. The happy couple revealed their news with an adorable family photo with daughter, Gloria, 2, wearing a “Big Sister” t-shirt, while Grete, wore a tight pink ruched dress, revealing a small baby bump while holding up a matching “Little Sister” onesie. Griffin writes,

“SURPRISE!!!!! My beautiful wife Grete just keeps adding blessings to our family. Reese and Gloria have a new little sister on the way!!!! Thank you baby for blessing us with this new baby girl coming our way in September.”

He continues,

You look like you are ready to go compete in the heptathlon at the 2019 World Championships, how in the world are you 6 months Pregnant!?!? It must be the Estonian in you. Or you are just one of God’s Angels on earth. Can’t wait to raise this precious little girl with you baby. Beyond Blessed. Beyond Grateful.

The couple’s new arrival is expected to come this September. The NFL star will welcome his third little girl, as he also shares 3-year-old, Reese Ann with his college sweetheart and his first wife, Rebecca Liddicoat.

Robert’s wife, Grete, says she is ready for their new addition to their family. She writes on social media:

“Blessed twice! Thank you Robert for blessing us with another baby girl coming our way in September Can’t wait to meet the newest addition to our family!!!! Beyond thankful and blessed!”

Robert and Grete started dating in the summer of 2016. Fast forward a year later, the couple got engaged in May 2017 and welcomed their first child together soon after in July.

They then tied the knot in March 2018 during an extravagant wedding in Miami, Florida.

In April 2018, Griffin signed a one-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens and by September, Griffin was named the team’s backup quarterback to Super Bowl champion Joe Flacco. During his first season as a Raven, Griffin appeared in three games. Earlier this year in March, Griffin re-signed with the Ravens on a two-year contract.

Congratulation to the proud new parents!
