Teairra Mari Could Be Hit With A Felony Charge In DWI Case
Not so good news for Teairra Mari. According to reports, there’s a chance she could be hit with a felony charge after her recent DWI arrest.
And interestingly enough, it’s because of her past criminal woes. NYC prosecutors reportedly want the Love & Hip Hop Hollywood cast member to go from a misdemeanor charge to a felony thanks to her DWI conviction in Los Angeles back in 2011.

In her current case, she was arrested on June 22 for driving drunk after police pulled her over in New York City. She was spotted swerving out of the Midtown Tunnel in a Dodge Charger that was missing a wheel. Not only that, but the bumper of the car was on ground and sparks were flying from the vehicle. After she was stopped, she reportedly smelled like alcohol and taken into custody for a DWI and driving without a license.
To make things worse, her license is actually revoked or suspended according to DMV records.

There’s no word on if her stint in jail and possibly felony will interfere with her return to Love & Hip Hop. theJasmineBRAND broke the story that Teairra has reportedly been filming with co-stars Moniece Slaughter, Mister Ray and Zell Swag for the upcoming sixth season.
She’s been on the series since season one. In season 5, fans saw her back-and-forth with her ex-boyfriend, Akbar, who she accused of leaking a sex tape of her.
Her struggle with alcohol has also been a factor in her storyline.
