JT of the City Girls to Be Released Next Month

It looks like the #FreeJT campaign is becoming a reality soon! Incarcerated City Girls member Jatavia “JT” Johnson is scheduled to be released from her federal prison sentence within the next month according to her bandmate Caresha “Yung Miami” Brownlee‘s sister! In an Instagram Story Q&A session, Yung Miami’s sister was asked:

“When will JT be free? We been waiting and waiting”

She dropped this bombshell on the Quality Control raptress:

“I don’t know the date but I know one day next month”

As shown in the City Girls’ documentary, “Point Blank Period,” JT reported to federal prison last July for fraud.

Since JT started her sentence, Yung Miami has held down the fort performing solo, recording music videos, and appearing at award shows.
