Mike Epps Shares Old Records Where He Was Charged W/ Possession Of Cocaine, Marijuana + Reflects How He Changed His Life Around
Comedian Mike Epps opens up on overcoming his past hopes of becoming the next king pen in. Over the weekend, the 48-year-old comedian and actor posted a 2013 charge for drug possession and driving with a suspended license. He reflected on his charges that he spent 2 years behind bars for. Epps says in his post,
“I been trying to be a king pen for a long time but God’s gift got in the way. I did 2 years in Marion county jail I never knew I would be famous and a inspiration on someone else.”
He continues, touching on changing his life before becoming a career criminal.
”This is just 4 out of 10 charges I had in my past. They wanna hold em on me just incase! I change my life in a nick of time, I was bout to be a career criminal if I had not ya found.”
In addition to changing his life, Epps recently became a newly wed, tying the knot with his fiancee, TV producer Kyra Robinson, in a private ceremony back in June.
