Lamar Odom Is Writing A Second Book

Lamar Odom is writing a second book. Over the weekend, the 39-year-old former NBA star shared the news on social media. Posting a picture of him writing in a journal, he thanked his manager and girlfriend Sabrina Parr.

He writes,

I decided that today is a good day to start writing my 2nd book. I can’t reveal what the story is about yet but I have the intent to inspire even more people with this book. Thank you Zoul, my manager @iamzoul for sending me this notebook so I can start writing down the new chapters of my life and for always making me your first priority client. Special thank you to my woman @getuptoparr for motivating me to live a healthier life and to start today with writing the first pages.

He continued,

The power of storytelling is so strong, I hope more people will decide to share personal stories so we can all inspire each other to heal, grow and rise. This post also goes out to all the strong woman in the world inspiring us to become better man to ourselves and to our families  #heal #grow #rise NEW BOOK COMING

Lamar’s girlfriend responded, writing:

Baby you give me goosebumps watching you grow!!!!! Just a few years ago you were on your deathbed! Couldn’t walk or talk, got released from the NBA, going through a divorce, struggling with addictions, dealing with the losses of your son, mother, grandmother, best friend, cousin and just trying to figure out life. Here you are today tho… healthy, CLEAN, working on your second book, getting back in shape, in therapy, dancing with the stars, loving one woman and you’re ALIVE baby!

She added,

Now that right there is a TURN ON! Don’t let ANYONE make you feel like you don’t deserve everything that is coming to you! Throughout life we all make mistakes. All God really wants us to do is grow and keep moving forward while trusting him! Keep moving baby and I’m right here. I love you

Lamar first book was a memoir called Darkness To Light.
