Whitney Houston Hologram Tour Dates Announced

Whitney Houston Hologram Tour Dates Announced, First Peek Revealed
Whitney Houston is – sort of – going on tour! The late singer will be the star of a hologram concert tour called, “An Evening With Whitney.” According to longtime manager and sister-in-law, Pat Houston, the show will be an interactive experience that will allow many fans to see her live for the first time.

In a statement, Pat said:
“Whitney is not with us, but her music will live with us forever. We know we made the right decision partnering with BASE because they understand how important it is to produce a phenomenal hologram. They also know that engaging her fans with an authentic Whitney experience would resonate worldwide because of the iconic status that she created over three decades. Her fans deserve nothing less because she gave nothing less than her best.”

BASE Hologram – the company behind the tour – recently released the first peek of one of the Whitney holograms used in the show. The version shows the singer in what she looked like in the late 1980’s, with short curly hair, gold leather jacket, and distressed jeans.

“An Evening With Whitney” launches at the top of the year in Mexico, while North American dates are scheduled for the fall of 2020. Beloved choreographer to the stars, Fatima Robinson, is setting the tour’s dancers in motion while Whitney Houston’s brother, Gary, will play in the live band. BASE Hologram Chairman and CEO Brian Becker said this about the tour:
“While ‘An Evening With Whitney’ will include all of her iconic hits, it’s not a throw-back show. This isn’t a journey through time, but more of a celebration of her best work. The main goal in these types of shows is to preserve the legacy of one-of-a-kind musicians and using their actual master recordings, give fans the chance to see them perform — many for the first time.”
