Drake Is Hurt By His Dad’s Comments: He’ll Say Anything To Anyone That’s Willing To Listen To Him

Drake is responding to the recent comments made by his father, Dennis Graham. In a recent interview, Drake’s dad revealed that some of the rapper’s lyrics about their strained relationship was only to help him sell more records. Dennis Graham stated that he confronted Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Graham, about making him look bad in his music.

“I had a conversation with Drake about that. I have always been with Drake. I talk to him if not every day, every other day. We really got into a deep conversation about that. I said, ‘Drake, why are you saying all of this different stuff about me man? This is not cool.’ He [goes], ‘Dad, it sells records.’ I said ‘Okay, well cool. Talk about me!'”

Check it out starting at the 2:30 mark.

Drake responded on social media writing:

Woke up today so hurt man. My father will say anthing to anyone that’s willing to listen to him.

He added

It’s sad when family gets like this but what can we really do that’s the people we are stuck with … every bar I ever spit was the truth and the truth is hard for some people to accept.
