Naomi Campbell: It’s My 1st Time In 33 Years Shooting With A Black Photographer In Mainstream Fashion!
Naomi Campbell has been in the industry for quite some time now, but she hasn’t worked with a Black photographer for mainstream fashion for over 30 years.
She shared the news, and the dope photo from famous photographer Campbell Addy, on Instagram Friday.
“It’s my first time in thirty three and a half years, shooting with a black photographer in mainstream fashion. BLESS YOU @campbelladdy for a beautiful day and to the whole team and @guardianweekend for this piece”

This isn’t the first time Campbell has called out a lack of diversity in the industry. She also recently pointed out that the wrong model was named in Elle Germany.

The feature of the controversial cover reads,
“Beautiful, successful, committed: MODELS OF COLOR were never in demand as they are now. But these great WOMEN also inspire us off the catwalks!”

Iconic model Bethann Hardison also shared her thoughts.
