Ex NFL’er Terrelle Pryor Stabbed In Chest & Charged With Assault, Woman Charged With Attempted Homicide
Free-agent receiver Terrelle Pryor, 30, is being arrested and charged with simple assault following a “mutual combat” incident during a Saturday morning (Nov. 30th) dispute, according to reports. The Former NFL WR has been reported to make a full recovery after a 24-year-old, Shalaya Briston allegedly stabbed the former NFL player.

Pryor was reportedly stabbed in the chest and shoulder at his Pittsburgh apartment. Authorities on the scene found a semi-automatic pistol in the front passenger seat of Pryor’sBenz with blood inside the vehicle. According to a statement from Pittsburgh authorities, Briston has been charged with attempting to kill Pryor.
“Shalaya Briston, 24, of Munhall, PA was arrested and has been charged with criminal attempt homicide and aggravated assault.”
In addition, the woman also was injured in the incident but was not treated for injuries.
“Briston was also injured in the altercation but police didn’t describe the injury. Authorities arrested Pryor, who faces a charge of simple assault.”

Thankfully, Pryor wasn’t severally injured after being rushed to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in critical condition at 4am on Saturday morning.
The 6-foot-4 former Jeannette football star was seventh in the NFL in 2016 in total yards while playing for the Cleveland Browns. His best season as a receiver, he caught 78 passes for 1,049 yards that year. Since that time, he’s been dealing with various injuries before he was released ahead of this season by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
