The Pope Apologizes For Swatting Woman’s Hand In Viral Clip
The Pope just wanted to acknowledge sweet Baby Jesus at the Nativity scene.
Pope Francis recently greeted children at the nativity monument on Saint Peter’s square when a woman pulled the 83-year-old’s hand. The yank almost caused him to fall, and he swatted the excited woman’s hand. That footage has now gone viral on social media.
Pope Francis later apologized for the interaction just before the Vatican’s mass celebration. He said:
“We lose patience many times.”
He continued:
“It happens to me too. I apologize for the bad example given yesterday.”
Even the Pope loses his patience sometimes.
