James Brown – Woman Claims She Has Evidence He Was Murdered, Working With Prosecutors For Possible Investigation

Investigators are, again, questioning the cause of death of soul legend James Brown. Last year, his widow Tomi Rae Brown, urged police to investigate his 2006 death – claiming close friends of the singer gave him an endless supply of drugs. Cocaine was specifically named. But, a woman named Jacque Hollander sat down with the Fulton County District Attorney – Paul Howard Jr. – this past Wednesday (Feb. 12).

CNN reports that Jacque has been pursuing this investigation for nearly three years. In fact, she alleges that both James Brown and his third wife, Adrienne Brown, were murdered. Upon CNN’s involvement, the District Attorney’s office agreed to meet with the former circus singer, in which she provided a list of witnesses, a stack of downloaded text messages, and the most shocking artifact: a plastic bin allegedly filled with evidence from the scene.

One brow-raising detail is Dr. Marvin Crawford‘s suspicion of James Brown’s death. The Godfather of Soul’s death certificate declared a heart attack and fluid on the lungs claimed his life, but Dr. Crawford suspects toxic substance involvement due to the rate of his decline. He said:

“He changed too fast. He was a patient I would never have predicted would have coded…But he died that night, and I did raise that question: What went wrong in that room?”

Last year, thirteen people were recorded that had wanted an autopsy or investigation into the 2006 death – including James Brown’s manager, son, widow, and a man who claimed to have taken a vial of his blood from the hospital. Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard Jr. told CNN that evidence would be weighed and interviews would be conducted to determine whether or not a full-scale investigation will be launched in the future. Jacque Hollander has faith in that possibility:

“He was very kind. I think he will get to the bottom of this.”

Do you think James Brown die of natural causes, or was he murdered? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
