Lauren London Says Nipsey Hussle’s Death Is “As Heavy Today As It Was Year Ago” On Anniversary Of His Passing

Update #2: Lauren London has posted a social media message, in honor of Nipsey Hussle’s passing. Sharing an image of them together at his clothing store, she explained that the pain of his death “is as heavy as it was a year ago.” She also add that the kids have “kept me together” and closes out by saying “I love you beyond human understanding.” See the entire message below.

Today (March 31st) marks the one year anniversary of Nipsey Hussle’s tragic passing and fans took to Twitter posting sweet messages to Lauren London, who shared a son with the actress. Nipse Hussle was a rapper, activist, and entrepreneur. Emerging from the West Coast hip hop scene in the mid-2000s, Hussle independently released his first mixtape, Slauson Boy Volume 1, to moderate local success, which led to him being signed to Cinematic Music Group and Epic Records.

On March 31, 2019, Nipsey Hussle was fatally shot outside his store Marathon Clothing in South Los Angeles. Eric Holder, a 29-year-old man who had confronted Hussle earlier in the day, was arrested and charged with murder on April 2, 2019. He is still in jail awaiting trial. Nipsey leaves behind a daughter from a previous relationship and son, with Lauren London.

Lauren has spoken publicly about mourning Nipsey Hussle’s death, sharing inspirational messages on social media.
