DJ Jazzy Jeff Warns The Public After People Relax Amid COVID-19: There’s Gonna Be A Lot More Sick People Soon
Record producer, DJ, actor, and comedian, DJ Jazzy Jeff, reacts to America becoming more relaxed in their daily movements, amid the current COVID-19 pandemic. After months of quarantining because of stay-at-home orders, several states have begun the reopening phase of gyms, restaurants, and other businesses. By doing so, many people are returning to their lifestyles pre-virus, which isn’t sitting well with the record producer.
In a tweet on Twitter, DJ Jazzy Jeff wrote:
Wow…so the virus is over??? Its cured??? Take it from someone who was sick…there’s gonna be a lot more sick people soon…smh

DJ Jazzy Jeff is no stranger to being extremely ill during this pandemic. On April 15, the 55-year-old DJ revealed during a video with his long-time friend Will Smith that he had become sick with what he believed to be the coronavirus. After a recent trip, he claimed that he had double-pneumonia, with symptoms similar to that of a COVID-19 patient.
“I came home from my trip. I was like, ‘I feel like I’m coming down with something’ and got into bed, and I don’t remember the next 10 days. I had a temperature that reached 103. I had the chills. I lost sense of smell. I lost sense of taste.”
He continued:
“They gave me a flu test, and when I went and got the chest X-ray, she came in and said, ‘You have pneumonia in both your lungs.’”
DJ Jazzy Jeff also took to his IG Stories to share the news and to warn the public to be safe.

On March 31, DJ Jazzy Jeff gave an update on his current health status. He wrote:
I’m Good! Thank God!!! I posted yesterday to bring awareness to how serious this…Pls look out for each other.
