Raven Symone On Whether She’d Join ‘The Real’: I’ll Never Say No To A Cool Job
Actress Raven-Symoné is no stranger to the spotlight. The 34-year-old television star has been working in Hollywood since she was a young child. Two of her most known roles are from The Cosby Show and Disney Channel’s original movie The Cheetah Girls. During a recent interview, Raven-Symoné was asked if she’d consider joining her former Cheetah Girls co-star Adrienne Houghton as a co-host on the talk show The Real. Raven-Symoné and Adrienne Houghton starred in 2 out of 3 of The Cheetah Girls films together between 2003 and 2006.
When speaking on possibly joining The Real Raven-Symoné said
“There’s always conversations to be had, but I’m gonna stay true to what I’ve been setting goals towards during corona, and that’s to focus on my skills as a director and EP and a creator, and really take what I’ve learned in the industry and pass it along to people that are beginning.”
She added
“But, I’ll never say no to a cool job. I don’t mind helping out where they need me to. As long as we’re corona safe, I’m down for the cause.”
There definitely seems to be open seats at the hosting table if Raven-Symoné decides to join The Real. Recently Tamera Mowry-Housley announced via social media that she’s not returning as a co-host for the show. In her statement, Tamera shared that instead of returning she’ll be
“spending more time with my family, pursuing amazing new opportunities.”

Tamera Mowry-Housley isn’t the only host to recently call it quits. Back in June Amanda Seales announced that she was leaving the show after being on a co-host for 6 months.

If Raven-Symoné actually moves forward with being on “The Real” this wouldn’t be her first time as a talk show host. In 2015 she joined “The View” and was a co-host until she left the show in 2016 to focus on other projects.
