Cardi B Seems To Salute Nicki Minaj’s Success & Says She’s ‘Still Dominating’
Cardi B and Nicki Minaj have certainly had their differences in the past. But it looks like their epic feud could be ending sooner than later.
Cardi B appeared to applaud Nicki Minaj’s success during an interview with Apple Music’s Beats 1 and said,
“When I was younger…when I was 6, 7, 8, there was a lot of female rappers and then there was a time when there was no female rappers at all. I had to keep replaying songs from the early 2000s. Like, I had to keep replaying it, replaying it, replaying it because for a while there wasn’t no female rappers.”

She added,
“And then, there was one female rapper that dominated for a very long time and she did pretty good and still dominating.”
It’s not clear if she’s referring to the “Yikes” rapper, but some fans believe she is.

The ladies have come a long way since things got physical between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj’s friend, Rah Ali at a Harper’s Bazaar party back in September 2018.

Nearly two years have passed and both ladies have continued to break records and make history. Nicki Minaj became the first female rapper to debut at #1 on the Hot 100 this century after her collaboration with Tekashi 6ix9ine, “TROLLZ” topped the coveted list.
Last month, Cardi B also became the first female artist to be named the ASCAP Songwriter of the Year twice.
