Veteran Eddie Murphy fans are very familiar with his singing career. But others were shocked to learn that Eddie Murphy who had a song to begin with.

It started when the video for his 1985 hit “Party All The Time”, which was produced by Rick James, was shared on Twitter Friday (Sept. 25th).

Some social media users unapologetically responded and said they had no idea Eddie Murphy was a professional singer.

Others were shocked that it wasn’t common knowledge that Eddie Murphy had a singing career and celebrated the era on Twitter.

Eddie Murphy hasn’t spoken out about his singing career resurfacing.
