Simone Biles Defends Commercial W/ ‘Queer Eye’ Star Jonathan Van Ness After Backlash: I’d Do 1 Million More W/ You Just To Piss Everyone Off!

Simone Biles is standing by her Uber Eats commercial with Queer Eye star Jonathan Va Ness, despite backlash she received from a conservative group.

Shortly after the ad was released, the Christian organization one Million Moms launched a petition. It states:

Shame on Uber Eats for attempting to brainwash viewers with an agenda instead of focusing on providing a helpful service, especially during a pandemic. Potential customers have plenty of other food delivery options to choose from instead of doing business with Uber Eats and its parent company Uber. Uber Eats and Uber are actually pushing consumers to the competition with their propaganda.

Instead of making audiences lose their appetite by glamorizing a LGBTQ lifestyle, Uber Eats should focus on what it does and remain neutral on controversial issues.

The petition continues:

For anyone curious or struggling with his or her sexual identity, watching someone prance around in the opposite sex’s clothing is not the answer. Rather, it’s imperative to answer a person’s tough questions about gender and sexuality from a biblical perspective in a caring way like American Family Studios has done in its new documentary, In His Image. Hundreds of thousands have already viewed this documentary and have responded with praise on how tasteful and helpful it has been to them. You can watch it free here.

It later calls for companies to be neutral in their commercials.

Simone Biles has since responded on Twitter. She wrote:

the world we live in makes me sad, but I’d do x1000000 more commercials with you just to piss everyone off! The LGBTQIA will always have my support and feel welcome on my socials

What are your thoughts on the petition and Simone Biles’ reaction? Comment and let us know.
