Tory Lanez Teases DaBaby Collab + Megan Thee Stallion Responds: Nice Try, That Sh*t Old & Not Cleared

Tory Lanez announced online that he has a new collaboration with rapper DaBaby, coming soon called “Umbrella.” He made the announcement on his Instagram page, stating that the song and visuals will be released soon.

In a series of tweets, Megan Thee Stallion responded to the announcement of the song by saying “nice try” with a laughing emoji.

She then retweeted a fan’s tweet who wrote:

“that ain’t dababy that’s my baby”

Megan Thee Stallion had one more message for Tory Lanez, alluding to the song being old and not cleared. She wrote,

“That sh*t was old and not cleared. CRYBABY VIDEO dropping soon”

Although Dababy hasn’t commented yet, Tory Lanez’s fans have had a lot to say in the comments about the collab.

We previously reported that Tory Lanez kicked off the new year with a billboard in New York City’s Times Square that reads,

“Tory Lanez is the greatest artist in the world.”

He captioned his post with:

“I said I was going to take over 2020 as soon as the ball drops ….. I PUT THIS BILLBOARD IN TIME SQUARE TONIGHT… so when the ball drops .. I can use it as a reminder to be “the greatest me” I can be this year .. thank u all for the constant love and support … #OneUmbrella2021 “

Tory Lanez also took to Twitter in a series of tweets, stating his plans to be a mogul in the new year.

“THEY WILL BE MAKING U-TURNS ALL 2021 …… MARK MY WORDS … I WILL BE A MOGUL .. AND A SUCCESSFUL BLACK ROLE MODEL TO THOSE I INSPIRE .”

Tory Lanez also responded to a critic who felt as though him being a role model “didn’t add up.” He replied:

“Well get ya calculator out for 2021 … we finna subtract the b*llsh*t … divide ourself from f*ck n*ggas , get to the sq root of all the flaw sh*t … and add up the money ….it all start adding up soon bucko”
