‘Snowfall’ Renewed For Fifth Season
Snowfall has been renewed for a fifth season. The 1980s-set drug drama was is created by John Singleton & Eric Amadio and Dave Andron.
According to reports, the show is up 41 percent in total viewers from its previous season to average 5.1 total viewers per episode.
FX Entertainment president Eric Schrier said,
“Snowfall has come into its own as one of the best dramas on TV, its quality and audience growth is a remarkable achievement for a show in its fourth season. Damson Idris and our entire cast continue to deliver outstanding performances every episode.”
The series follows the stories of several characters whose lives are fated to intersect: 20-year-old drug dealer Franklin Saint, Mexican luchador Gustavo “El Oso” Zapata, CIA operative Teddy McDonald, and a Mexican crime boss’s niece, Lucia Villanueva.
