Tiger Woods Was Driving Over 80 MPH, Almost Twice The Speed Limit, Before Crash
New details have surfaced surrounding the dangerous car crashed that Tiger Woods was involved in February. According to reports, the golf champ was driving at nearly twice the posted speed limit of 45 mph before the accident that left him seriously injured.
As previously reported, Tiger Woods was driving a Hyundai Genesis SUV when he crashed and suffered serious ankle and leg injuries. Reportedly he was speeding between of 84 to 87 mph around the time of the crash as his vehicle crossed through two oncoming lanes and uprooted a tree before rolling over on a downhill stretch.
Tiger Woods has since been released from the hospital and is now recovering from multiple surgeries.
The lead crash investigator in the case and the first deputy to arrive at the scene has said that he did not observe anything that led him to suspect that Tiger Woods was under the influence of any substance.
