Nicki Minaj Fans Are Convinced She’s Dropping New Music Friday Following Her Recent Tweet
Nicki Minaj’s fans are speculating that she’s dropping new music this Friday, May 14, following her most recent tweet. Nicki Minaj took to her Twitter today and tweeted out two images of herself sitting on top of a pink desk. In the image, Nicki Minaj appears to be nude as she covers her body with two large heart-shaped pink pillows. The Grammy-Award-nominated artist captioned the social media images,
“FRIDAY [Crossed fingers emoji]

After her message, it didn’t take long for her name to trend on Twitter as fans discussed what she meant and if she’s dropping new music later on this week. Fans also tweeted about Rihanna recently following Nicki Minaj on IG and if that means the two ladies are working on music together.

It’s been a while since Nicki Minaj has dropped new music as the ‘Super Bass’ rapper took a well-deserved break from the music industry to focus on being a wife and mother. So far this year Nicki hasn’t released any new music and besides a few guest features in 2020 and 2019, she hasn’t released a music project since her Queen album in 2018.

Even though Nicki Minaj has been on a break she’s still been setting records. Last year she became the second female rapper to chart at number one on the Hot 100 more than once with her song “Trollz”. This year her music video for “Anaconda” became the first female rap solo song to reach 1 billion views on YouTube.
