The Weeknd & Angelina Jolie Spark Dating Rumors After Being Spotted At Dinner Together
Did The Weeknd have a simple business meeting with Angelina Jolie, or could it have been more?
According to Page Six, the pair were spotted dining together at a high-end Santa Monica establishment–Il Ristorante di Giorgio Baldi–this past Wednesday (June 30th). Reportedly, The Weeknd (real name Abel Tesfaye) and Angelina Jolie dined for a few hours at the restaurant. However, they allegedly left at separate times to reportedly avoid being photographed together.
Shortly after the meetup, Page Six spoke to a source close to The Weeknd, who claimed:
“They’re clearly not trying to hide [their dinner together]. He’s definitely focused on getting to the movie business. He has the new HBO series he’s starring in.”
The Weeknd is set to star in and co-develop an HBO series, The Idol. The news of the upcoming project was recently announced, and Euphoria creator Sam Levinson is also developing the series.
In addition to The Idol, The Weeknd also recently starred in the 2019 film Uncut Gems. He also co-wrote an episode of American Dad just this past year. As we can see, he’s been busy building his acting and writing résumé–so The Weeknd very well could have been meeting with Angelina Jolie for business-related reasons!
Additionally, Angelina Jolie is rumored to be rekindling a connection with her Jonny Lee Miller, whom she was married to from 1996-1999. However, this hasn’t stopped rumors from circulating regarding her and The Weeknd!
