Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson’s business in TV and film continues to grow. According to reports, the 46-year-old rapper and tv/film producer is working on non-scripted, hip-hop competition series called ‘Unrapped’.
The series is in development at ABC from Jackson’s G-Unit Film & Television and will be executive produced by 50 Cent.
Casting is underway for the show that will feature a hip-hop talent format with celebrity contestants, who will be coached by hip-hop mentors that will go head-to-head in rap battles.
50 Cent said in a statement,
“I am excited to expand my relationship with ABC. Unrapped brings G-Unit Film and Television’s ability to put incredible music and musical talent on screen to the competition space.”
