Adele Announces New Single ‘Easy On Me’ After Sparking Rumors Of A New Album

Update #1 (Oct. 5): Fans are getting closer to a brand new Adele album!

After speculation spread that the Chasing Pavements singer was hinting at a new album called 30, she teased a new single called “Easy on Me.”

Adele shared a brief video on social media, revealing that the song will be available on Oct. 15.

Fans are clearly ready as the clip has nearly 4 million views less than two hours after being uploaded.

According to reports, fans of Adele recently spotted a couple of ’30’ billboards, which has caused speculation that the “First Love” singer will be dropping her fourth studio album soon. Adele is famously known for naming her albums after the age she was during their production and release. The Grammy-Award-winning artist turned 33 this past May, however, in 2019 she publicly shared how challenging being 30 was for her. In an Instagram post she uploaded to celebrate turning 31, she wrote in the caption,

“This is 31…thank f*cking god
30 tried me so hard but I’m owning it and trying my hardest to lean in to it all. No matter how long we’re here for life is constant and complicated at times. I’ve changed drastically in the last couple years and I’m still changing and that’s okay.”

She continued,

“31 is going to be a big ol’ year and I’m going to spend it all on myself. For the first time in a decade I’m ready to feel the world around me and look up for once. Be kind to yourself people we’re only human, go slow, put your phone down and laugh out loud at every opportunity Learning to REALLY truly love yourself is it, and I’ve only just realized that that is more than enough. I’ll learn to love you lot eventually Bunch of f*cking savages,”

Adele added,

“30 will be a drum n bass record to spite you. Chin up eh”

As previously reported, in August of last year Adele shared with fans that she has no idea when she’ll be dropping her next album. The songstress shared a picture of a book cover paired with a lengthy caption to her IG page. Fans wasted no time in asking her when the album was coming in the comment section. Adele responded to one of the questions and said,

“I honestly have no idea.“

Adele released her latest album 25 in 2015. It featured the hit single “Hello”.
