Kenya Moore Reacts To Porsha Williams’ ‘RHOA’ Exit: If That Makes Her Happy, Then Good For Her

Kenya Moore has a few words about Porsha Williams’ decision to leave The Real Housewives of Atlanta. 

Porsha Williams announced her departure last week after starring on the show for nine seasons.

Kenya Moore shared her thoughts during a recent interview and said,

“I think people should do what makes them happy, and if that makes her happy, then good for her.”

She also addressed reports that Marlo Hampton is getting her peach after being a friend of the show since season four.

“Oh, I never say never. I just feel like, you just never say never. I’ll leave it there. Never say never. I’m happy for her too, if that’s true.”

Lastly, she spoke on reports that Bravo gave her an ultimatum and wanted her to choose between being on RHOA and the current 30th season of Dancing With The Stars. She said,

“Well I guess if there was an ultimatum, I guess we know which one I chose. I’ve always wanted to do this show. I’m here, I’m loving every minute of it. I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world. Of course I love doing Housewives, and having that opportunity, so I think it will work itself out.”

She further opened up about learning to trust her DWTS partner Brandon Armstrong. 

“The honest answer is that I don’t have a great track record when it comes to men and trusting them. When I have put my trust in them they kind of ruin it. And you guys know that I’m going through a divorce, and those feelings are very new, and to have someone come in, I’m guarded, you know. I don’t want to relinquish that control, which is a lot of what trusting is about.”

Fans of RHOA are well aware of Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams’ rocky history. They both joined the show in season five and didn’t necessarily hit it off as newbies.

Things went further during the season six reunion when Porsha Williams dragged Kenya Moore to the ground by her hair in one of the first-ever physical altercations in RHOA’s history.

While they continued to suffer ups and downs through the seasons, they appeared to be building a friendship during season 12 after they both welcomed their first child around the same time. Still, it didn’t last long as they had a heated exchange at the reunion.

In the most recent 13th season, their back and forth reached an even lower point as Kenya Moore accused Porsha Williams of sleeping with a male dancer at Cynthia Bailey’s bachelorette party. Kenya also suggested Porsha’s activism work was not genuine.
