An unnamed man who reportedly harassed ‘White Men Can’t Jump’actor Woody Harrelson, 60, Yesterday (Oct. 6) on the rooftop of D.C.’s Watergate Hotel faces charges.
According to reports, police were called to The Watergate Hotel late last night (Oct. 6) for an assault that took place on the roof deck. Woody Harrelson reportedly punched a man, who appeared to be intoxicated, for taking photos of him and his daughter.
Reports claim that Woody Harrelson did attempt to talk to the man before things got physical and told him to stop and delete the images. However, according to the police report, Harrelson and witnesses claim that the man lunged at the Primetime Emmy Award-winning actor,
“in an attempt to grab his neck.”

Harrelson reportedly then punched the man in an act of self-defense. Following the incident, the man who took the images was questioned in his hotel room. Charges for his actions are pending and an investigation is ongoing.
Harrelson and his reps have yet to speak on the altercation.
