Instagram Influencer Nenobia Washington–AKA ‘BKTIDALWAVE’–Believed To Have Committed Suicide [CONDOLENCES]
A New York-based influencer is speculated to have tragically ended her own life.
Instagram influencer Nenobia Washington–who is also known as “BKTIDALWAVE” and “The Queen of Brooklyn”–has passed away. The 38-year-old was found lying unconscious outside a New York City building this past Saturday evening (Oct. 30th). She was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
The next day (Sunday, Oct. 31st), popular music streaming platform TIDAL issued a statement on Twitter:
“Our hearts are with BKTIDALWAVE and her family today. Rest In Peace to The Queen of Brooklyn.”

While Nenobia Washington passed away back on Saturday (Oct. 30th), additional details and speculation about the tragedy have just come to light. Earlier today (Wednesday, Nov. 3rd), reports began circulating that Nenobia died as a result of a six-story fall. Furthermore, investigators reportedly believe the influencer committed suicide–though it’s worth noting that the medical examiner has not yet officially pronounced the cause of death.

In response to this recent development, David Jackson–the father of Nenobia Washington‘s son–revealed that, while he’s heard varying accounts from witnesses, he was informed the influencer fell from a window. He also says their son, Tyeleck, talked to Nenobia just one day before the tragedy (Oct. 29th).
Jackson has set up a GoFundMe to help cover Nenobia Washington‘s funeral–which will be open to the public in Brooklyn, though the specifics are unclear. The fundraiser has surpassed its $30,000 goal, and the leftover money will be used to help care for Tyeleck.

We send our prayers and heartfelt condolences to Nenobia Washington’s friends and family during this troubling time.
