Drake Says Kodak Black Is The Greatest Rapper Of This Generation: You Really All That For This Generation & The Next One If We Being Honest

Kodak Black is one of the greatest rappers of all time–according to Drake.

Hitmaking rapper Drake, 35, said that Florida rapper Kodak Black, 24, is rap’s only hope. The Certified Lover Boy hopped on Kodak’s Instagram live broadcast to praise his talent:

“You really all that for this generation and the next one if we being honest.”

The internet had mixed feelings about Drake’s statement. One Twitter user wrote:

“not even close.”

“Drake is losing respect daily. That’s a better story.”

“Kodak? Lol TF is this coming from, I disagree.”

“Kodak catalog is underrated. Project Baby, Heart of the Projects, and Institution full of hits. Project Baby 2 too.”

Kodak Black Been the GOAT Before YB, everybody looked up to Kodak & Thats a Fact.”

“Welp say goodbye to any Future albums lmfao.”

“Lol speaks to the quality of music . I like Kodak but cmon now.”

“that’s not a compliment lol.”

“No but he making a comeback tho IMO.”

In 2015, Drake propelled Kodak’s song “Skrt” when he posted a video of himself dancing to it.

Kodak’s last studio album Bill Israel was released while he was still serving time in 2020. The album was inspired by Kodak transforming into a Hebrew Israelite, which also occurred while he was behind bars. It peaked at 42 on the US Billboard 200 and 20 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

Since his release from prison in 2021, Kodak has released a few mixtapes. Project titles include Haitian Boy Kodak and Happy Birthday Kodak.
