The West vs. Kardashian feud escalated over the weekend.
Rapper Kanye West returned to Instagram once again to inform the public about his ongoing battle with soon-to-be-ex-wife Kim Kardashian. This time, Kanye claimed that Kim accused him of orchestrating her murder. Kanye posted a screenshot of a conversation between himself and Larry Jackson, in which he asks the Apple Music head for Kim’s phone number. His explosive rant read:
“Yesterday, Kim accused me of putting a hit out on her, so let me get this straight. I beg to go to my daughter’s party and I’m accused of being on drugs. Then I go play with my son and I take my Akira graphic novels and I’m accused of stealing. Now I’m being accused of putting a hit on her.
He continued:
“These ideas can actually get someone locked up. [The Kardashians] play like that with black mens’ lives whether it’s getting them free or getting them locked up. I’m not playing about my black children anymore.”
Kanye also alleged that one of Kim’s cousins sent him a text message, agreeing that 8-year-old North West shouldn’t be active on Tik Tok. The acclaimed producer stated that the cousin quickly shifted the subject and subtly inquired about a free pair of YEEZYs.
One day prior to Kanye’s Sunday tirade, Kanye acknowledged political commentator Candance Owens, who publicly agreed with Kanye about the Tik Tok situation. In that post, he mentioned that his mother–the late Donda West–moved him to Chicago at 3-years-old, separating him from his father. He claimed that he was trying to prevent the same scenario with his children.
The “Gold Digger” rapper eventually followed up by posting that Larry Jackson had given him Kim’s number. His posts about Kim have since been deleted.
Things recently went downhill in Kim and Kanye’s divorce when Kim allegedly withheld the details about their daughter, Chicago’s, birthday party. Although Kanye found his way to the party, he continued to accuse Kim of cutting off all contact with him. Kanye also expressed that he disapproves of North and Kim’s joint Tik Tok account, which sparked this weekend’s events. He has stated that he uses social media as a tool to bring awareness to the plight of single fatherhood–and to get Kim’s attention.
