Vogue Under Fire For Featuring Kim Kardashian On Cover Of Latest Issue Instead Of Former Editor André Leon Talley, Who Recently Passed

Did Vogue drop the ball with their latest cover?

It seems like Vogue Magazine has found itself in the hot seat over its latest cover. Today (Feb. 9) fashion fans are able to check out the newest leading story of Vogue Magazine, which features Kim Kardashian, 41, on the cover. Following the release of Vogue’s March 2022 spotlight story about the SKIMS owner, it didn’t take long for some to call out the publication for not placing the late André Leon Talley, who was the former editor-at-large of Vogue, on the cover instead.

Some did come to Vogue’s defense and argue that the Magazine more than likely had plans to put Kim on the cover before André Leon Talley passed away.

As previously reported, fashion icon André Leon Talley, unfortunately, died last month at the age of 73. The heartbreaking news was confirmed via his social media accounts.

Prior to his passing, André Leon Talley contributed a lot to the world of fashion including being the first African-American male creative director (from 1988 to 1995) for Vogue.
