Cardi B Reacts To Fans Criticizing Her For Sharing Only A Glimpse Of Her Infant Son: Maybe I Should Delete My Social Media!
Cardi B is clapping back at people responding negatively to a photo of her son.
After sharing a glimpse of her baby boy on Twitter on March 9, she was accused by some social media users of being attention-seeking and insincere. The rapper, 29, addressed the critics in a string of tweets and seemed so frustrated she threatened to delete her social media accounts altogether.
The photo featured a closeup of what appeared to be her son’s face. “That’s all y’all will get,” Cardi B captioned the image.

It seemed to be a sincere moment between Cardi B and her fans, whom she affectionally calls the “Bardi Gang,” but even that was taken out of context as people accused her of seeking attention.

She responded to the criticism in a tweet, saying:
How people mad cause people was asking me to see my son and I replied? It seems like I can’t do or say nothing these days without people getting irritated. Maybe I should delete my social medias or just die cause Wtff.
She added in a follow-up tweet:
If I post [it’s] cause I want attention, If I speak my mind [it’s] cause I want attention, if I post a pic I want attention, [if] I talk about my kids which I’m wit everyday [it’s] cause I want attention…Like wtfff.
Fans rallied to her defense and encouraged Cardi B to tune out the noise and focus on her work. “You right babes …Imma let people have their fun,” she replied. “….Cause my next single is super pressure.”

Cardi B welcomed her son in September of 2021 with rapper Offset, whom she married in 2017. She has kept his identity a secret but teased on Twitter once that she might reveal his name via a face tattoo. She and Offset also share a daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, who was born in July of 2018.
