Lil Yachty got the tea after speaking to Drake about his verse on Jack Harlow’s “Churchill Downs.”
Recently, Grammy-award winner Drake collaborated with Jack Harlow on his single “Churchill Downs,” which is on Jack Harlow’s album “Come Home The Kids Miss You.”
Lil Yachty told podcast host Akademiks on an episode of his “Off The Record” podcast that Drake, 35, wrote his impressive almost three minute verse in 11 minutes while he was with Jack Harlow, 24.
Lil Yachty says:
“I actually talked to Drake about that verse. He said he did that sh*t in like 11 minutes. He said he did that in front of Jack. That verse, he told me that, they did it when they were out there in the islands. He did it right in front of him.”
Yachty, 24, continues:
“They did it when they were out there in the islands. He did it right in front of him.”
Akademiks recalls on a viral video of Drake typing in his phone accompanied by Jack Harlow in Turks and Caicos:
“Churchill downs” music video was shot in Louisville, Kentucky where Harlow was born and raised. The visual was released on Wednesday (June 1). The visual holds over six million views on YouTube.
