Nipsey Hussle –Woman Who Drove Alleged Shooter Testifies During Trial: Eric (Holder) was asking Nipsey, ‘Did you tell somebody I snitched?’

A woman testified Monday (Jun.20) that she unintentionally drove Nipsey Hussle’s accused killer to and from the scene of the 2019 shooting and witnessed the murder suspect load bullets into a gun shortly before the beloved rappers untimely death.

Bryannita Nicholson, 35–a key prosecution witness who is getting immunity in exchange– said that when she and murder suspect Eric Holder pulled into a South Los Angeles shopping center on March 31, 2019, she was surprised and excited to spot Nipsey Hussle, as she was a big fan of his music. Bryannita Nicholson– who admitted to having an intimate relationship with Eric Holder– recalled the moment in her testimony and said,

“I said, ‘Ooh, there goes Nipsey, he fine. I want to take a picture with him.'”

Bryannita Nicholson’s testimony came on the fourth day of Eric Holder’s trial. He is charged with first degree murder for the killing of the 33-year-old hip-hop artist who had just been nominated for a Grammy for his major-label-debut album after years of being an underground artist.

During her testimony at Los Angeles Superior Court, Nicholson said she was unaware that Nipsey Hussle owned the shopping center that was home to his clothing store The Marathon and the Master Burger restaurant where Eric Holder had told her to stop so he could get food. Without telling her that he knew Hussle from growing up in the same neighborhood and having ties to the same street gang, Holder got out of the car and walked to Hussle while Nicholson remained in the car and was looking for parking. She explained,

“I just thought he was trying to beat me to go see him before I saw him.”

When she joined Holder, Nicholson says that he was talking to Hussle. Nicholson testified and said,

“Eric was asking Nipsey, ‘Did you tell somebody I snitched?'”

When asked by Senior Deputy District Attorney John McKinney if she sensed a fight was brewing, Bryannita Nicholson said,

“No, it didn’t occur to me at all.”

She waited her turn then took a selfie with Nipsey Hussle. The picture was shown in court, with Nicholson smiling in sunglasses and Hussle, bearded with a white T-shirt and white headscarf. Nicholson said while taking the photo with Hussle,  Eric Holder picked up his food.

According to Nicholson, Holder went into Master Burger, came out with chili fries, and told her to drive around the block. As she did that, he pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun, loaded its magazine, and attached it. She testified,

“Once we came around the block, that’s when I seen him put bullets into the automatic gun. It was the black one..When he was doing it, I said, ‘What are you doing? You put that away, you ain’t going to shoot nothing outside my car.’ He did put it away.”

Bryannita Nicholson said Eric Holder then instructed her to turn onto Crenshaw Boulevard and park in an alleyway. She said Holder then took two more bites of his food before he jumped out and told her to wait in the car. Nicholson claims Holder didn’t seem upset as he walked down the alleyway. She said,

“I just thought he was going to get a shirt or something [from Hussle’s store].”

Just a few minutes later, Nicholson said she heard gunshots. She said she was debating whether to leave the area but was worried that Holder may have been hurt. When he got back to her car, Nicholson said she saw he was carrying two guns — a black semi-automatic weapon and chrome revolver on him. She said Holder yelled at her to drive away from the alleyway and saw him put the weapons into a bag. Nicholson said,

“I was like, ‘What happened?,’ “he said, ‘You talk too much I ought to slap you. And he was just like, ‘Drive! Drive!’”

Nicholson said she didn’t realize Holder might have been involved with the shooting until after he spent the night and she later saw news reports of Nipsey Hussle’s death. Nicholson said,

“I asked him about it again … he didn’t say too much and he went to the balcony, smoked marijuana, and he went to sleep. That was it.”

Bryannita Nicholson will take the stand again on Tuesday (Jun. 21).
