Celebrating the new musical union, the “Level Up” singer posted to her Instagram page:
“New Music, New Chapter, New Partnership My Label Beauty Marks Entertainment X Uptown/Republic!! Ready to make the world #JUMP!”

Via press release, Ciara spoke on the new partnership, expressing her excitement. Reportedly, she stated:
“I am thrilled to partner with Uptown/Republic Records through my own label imprint Beauty Marks Entertainment,”
She continued:
“[Republic co-president] Wendy [Goldstein] and I have been in discussion to work together for some time and the enthusiasm that her and the entire team have expressed over this new project marks an exciting new chapter in my career. I am grateful to be able to continue my mission of making the world dance with a team I admire, who are at the forefront of empowering artists.”

Ciara made headlines earlier this week, after revealing that her Masters were given to her for free. Allegedly, the musician’s previous label didn’t believe her record “Level Up” would perform well. Thus, they handed the rights to the song over without compensation. Speaking on the matter, Ciara stated:
“I had this song called ‘Level Up,’ I had the video for the song as well. I had a whole vision for my project….I sat down and I talked to the CEO at that time. It was like, he made up his mind before I came into the room. He wasn’t checking for it.”
The song went on to become a hit, after inspiring a dance craze with Tik Tok users and social media influencers. However, it seems her new collaborators see nothing but a star. Republic Record co-president Wendy Goldstein stated:
“I’ve been a fan of Ciara forever….Working with her has been a dream, and she’s making some of the most powerful, undeniable, and innovative music of her entire career now. This is an incredible creative chapter for her, and we’re all excited to be part of it.”
