Donald Trump Says FBI Is Raiding His Mar-A-Lago Resort Home: They Even Broke Into My Safe!

Donald Trump’s home, the Mar-A-Lago resort is being raided.

Donald Trump released a statement Tuesday evening (August 8) explaining that his home is “currently under siege” and that the “unannounced raid” was “not necessary or appropriate.”

“These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents. Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before. After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate.”

Trump also used the statement to denounce the Democratic party, who he says “desperately don’t want” him to run for President in 2024.

“It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don’t want me to run for President in 2024, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections.”

He also took a shot at former running mate, Hillary Clinton, who he says has not been held accountable for her wrongdoings:

“Hillary Clinton was allowed to delete and acid wash 33,000 E-mails AFTER they were subpoenaed by Congress. Absolutely nothing has happened to hold her accountable. She even took antique furniture, and other items from the White House.”

Donald Trump has been a central part of the Justice Department’s investigation into the January 6th attack on the Capitol in 2021. The department has been focusing on Trump’s actions and behavior during the time of the attack, and on his “efforts to remain in power” through possible fake election certificates to reverse the 2020 election in key states won by President Joe Biden.

According to recent reports, the Justice Department also executed search warrants on two lawyers who worked with Donald Trump. Last week, his former White House counsel, Pat Cipollone, was called to testify before a federal grand jury.
