Kanye West Will Not Be Charged For Allegedly Punching A Fan
It looks like Kanye West has been let off the hook!
According to reports, the Chicago rapper will not be charged with battery for allegedly punching a fan after a heated exchange outside an L.A. hotel in January.
The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office told sources,
“After a thorough and careful review of all the evidence, our office is declining to file based on no reasonable likelihood of conviction.”
In other words, there’s not enough evidence for a conviction.

As previously reported, Kanye West got into an argument with a fan that turned physical back in January. A fan was allegedly punched by West after asking the ‘Jesus Walks’ rapper for an autograph. The alleged incident took place the morning of Jan. 13 around 3 am in the downtown Los Angeles area.
In the video obtained by TMZ, we see Kanye West yelling at a member of his entourage after the incident, telling her to “get away” from him. We also see a man laying on the ground.
The case was being investigated as a misdemeanor battery, which carries a maximum jail sentence of 6 months. He previously was sentenced to two years of probation, anger management classes and community service for his misdemeanor battery for getting physical with paparazzi while at LAX Airport back in July 2013.https://youtu.be/fxt1NJIdZLE
The alleged January battery coincided with the final weeks of West’s marriage to Kim Kardashian and his very public criticism of the beauty mogul and her then-boyfriend, Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson. A day after the incident, Kanye West dropped his song with The Game titled “Eazy,” in which he verbally threatens Davidson.

Two days later, West released a music video for “Eazy” in which his claymation drags a tied-up Davidson to a grave, buries him up to his neck and decapitates him.
