Ludacris, Lil Rel Howery & Teyonah Parris To Star In Disney Plus Holiday Comedy ‘Dashing Through The Snow’

Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Lil Rel Howery, and Teyonah Parris are set to star in the upcoming Disney holiday comedy ‘Dashing Through the Snow.’

According to reports, production is currently underway in Atlanta with the film set to premiere on Disney Plus next holiday season. The film is produced by Will Packer through his Will Packer Productions, and John Jacobs through his Smart Entertainment; and is directed by Tim Story, who is best known for the 2002 comedy Barbershop, and directing the two Fantastic Four films in the 2000s.

Dashing Through the Snow will tell the story of a divorced social worker in the Atlanta police department, who does not like Christmas due to a painful childhood memory involving the holiday. However, when sent on a call while spending Christmas Eve with his daughter, he accidentally upsets a local politician but meets a man who helps him understand the joy and magic of Christmas.

The movie stars Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Lil Rel Howery, and Teyonah Parris. 

Ludacris is best known for his career as a rapper but has been no stranger to the world of film. The actor has mostly starred in the Fast & Furious franchise, and is set to appear in Fast X.

Comedian Lil Rel Howery is best known for his television series Rel, as well as his appearance in Jordan Peele’s 2017 film Get Out.

Teyonah Parris has starred in various tv shows and movies like, ‘Mad Men,’ ‘Dear White People,’ and ‘Candyman.’ She is currently set to star in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film The Marvels.
