Kourtney Kardashian Reveals She’s No Longer As Close w/ Sister Khloe As She Once Was: I Think Just Life Isn’t The Same

Kourtney Kardashian-Barker and Khloe Kardashian, who once famously took over Miami and the Hamptons, are now taking a break. 

In a recent interview, Kourtney Kardashian-Barker, the oldest of the sisters, admitted there has been some distance between her and Khloé  Kardashian. 

She revealed, 

“I think just life isn’t the same. I think I’m in a different place.”

The sisters were once an inseparable duo and their bond was captured on the family’s 20-season run reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians (KUWTK). Kourtney Kardashian-Barker and Khloé  Kardashian,38, were also featured in the spinoff series Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami (3 seasons) and Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons (1 season). 

While this is the first time Kourtney has explicitly talked about the distance between her and the former Kocktails with Khloe host, Khloe did reveal Kourtney is not the first person she turns to anymore. She attributed the change to Kourtney’s marriage to drummer Travis Barker,46.

Khloé said,

“It depends on the stages that the other siblings are in, in their lives. For example, Kourtney is so loved up right now, she’s probably not the one I’m going to go rave with. You know what I mean?”

Plus, further proof of their tattered relationship has been publicly documented. 

In KUWTK’s 2019 Bali episode, an intense argument between Kourtney and Khloé  about who complained the most and was more chill nearly pushed the pair to violence.  

Khloe said, 

“Her comments make me want to slap her in the f**king mouth.”

Khloé expressed frustration with her sister Kourtney during the KUWTK reunion in 2021, saying it was unfair that she wasn’t keeping her love life private. 

Khloé also seemingly snubbed Kourtney by choosing Kim,41, as the godmother of True Thompson, her 4-year-old daughter, in possibly one of the biggest blows to their relationship. Khloé said she chose Kim Kardashian because of her parenting style and because she seemed more secure in her life.

Kourtney, 43, now says she has become the third wheel to sisters Khloe and Kim Kardashian. 

“I just felt like they really bonded. They were going through the same things.” 

In addition to having children around the same age, Kim Kardashian and Khloé seemingly share similar tastes in men.  However, even though she’s not as close to Khloé anymore, Kourtney says they always share a special bond of some form.
